Lakewood Water District is an essential service provider and is looking for its next team member to help deliver our world’s #1 natural resource—water—safely and dependably to our community 24/7.  The District is looking for a dedicated individual with utility experience to work on its Pumping and Water Quality Department in the position of a Water Utility Worker II.  Lakewood Water District is committed to providing excellence in the quality of our water and our service to our community.  Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and living within 30 minutes of the District’s boundary for on-call rotation.  A minimum of a Washington State Water District Manager I certification is preferred.  If not yet certified, the employee would be required to obtain at least a WDM-I certification within the first year of employment.  All District employees are required to submit to MVR and State Patrol finger-printing and background checks.  The salary range is $4595-$6255 per month DOE and includes an excellent benefit package.  Lakewood Water District is an Equal Opportunity Employer.  An employment application and job description are available at www.lakewoodwater.org or 11900 Gravelly Lake Drive SW, Lakewood, WA  98499 (mailing address: P.O.
