Backflow Permit Applications

Commercial Backflow Permit Application

Choose Commercial Backflow Permit if you are building or remodeling a commercial facility, industrial facility or multi-family housing. If you have not already completed a Cross Connection Survey, please click here to access. A Commercial Backflow Permit will not be issued until a Cross Connection Survey has been submitted and reviewed by District staff. An onsite survey and plan review may be required before a commercial permit will be issued. If a plan review is required there is a $150 fee that will be added to the cost of the permit.


Residential Backflow Permit Application

Choose Residential Backflow Permit if you are installing or replacing backflow assemblies at a single-family residence. If you are a developing multiple single-family residential units, you must obtain a permit for each single-family unit. An onsite survey may be required before a residential permit will be issued.


Permits are required for all new and replacement backflow assemblies. All commercial properties require premise isolation. District staff will evaluate the application and contact you with a total cost for your backflow permit, and arrange to take payment for the permit. Permit cost is $65.00 each for the first two assemblies and $32.50 for each additional assembly. After the permit is issued it will be sent to you by email or you can pick up a copy at our main office.
