Cross Connection – Backflow Letter

We would like to take a moment to thank all our LWD Backflow participants for their partnership in this program. The District mailed (10/31/22) out a letter to all the backflow customers to inform everyone of a policy change and provide a 60-day written notice of the changes before enactment.

The District would like to apologize for any concerns raised from the letter and wanted to reassure you that if you are on the LWD Backflow program, you still are; if you have your own tester, they are still your tester. The only change to the program is the District is enacting a compulsory testing process for all Backflow customers who are more than 45 days past due on submitting their Backflow test to the District.
